To coincide with the release of 300: Rise of an Empire, Roadshow Films has teamed up with Gym Jones in the U.S. to get everyone into Adonis shape.
The film, which is a sequel to the 2006 hit 300, will be released in Australia on March 6th. It follows on after the defeat of King Leonidas’ (Gerard Butler) 300, as Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and the Persian army march upon the major Greek city-states.
Directed by relative newbie Noam Murro, 300: Rise of an Empire still features Zack Snyder as one of the screenwriters and Australia’s own Sullivan Stapleton in the lead role as Themistocles.
Gym Jones has put a tailor-made training program together for Aussies to give them a true taste of what the cast went through when preparing for their roles. Starting on February 24th, people who want to punish themselves for fun can sign up to the ‘Warrior’ challenge, or for the truly sadistic, the ‘Elite Warrior’ challenge. In return participants will be provided with a two-week training program, which includes tutorial videos, and the chance to win big prizes along the way.
So, if you want 300 abs like SS, you can sign up to the challenge… Or you could just make like these guys.
