Hot damn. The boys are back in town next week as Magic Mike XXL hits Australian screens on Thursday (July 9).
The sequel to the hugely popular Magic Mike picks up the story three years after Mike (Channing Tatum) bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game. Magic Mike XXL finds the remaining Kings of Tampa also ready to throw in the towel, but they want to do it their way, by burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach. And it just wouldn’t be the same without legendary headliner Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them.
In honour of this momentous occasion Warner Bros. and Hoyts are presenting an exclusive screening event that allows fans to be the first in the country to see Magic Mike XXL on the big screen, not to mention see the film’s stars, Channing Tatum (Mike) and Joe Manganiello (BDR), in the flesh.
Catching Magic Mike XXL on a custom-built, giant 23m screen is just the beginning. Ticket holders will be treated to a memorable live pre-show hosted by hit104.1 2DayFM’s breakfast co-host Maz Compton, including dancers and all the action beamed from the red carpet.
After the film, Tatum and Manganiello, along with director Greg Jacobs and writer/producer Reid Carolin, will take part in a post-screening Q&A in front of the arena audience. All attending guests will have the chance to ask the stars a question at the Q&A, with a roaming camera capturing potential audience questions as guests arrive.
Tickets are on sale via Ticketek, with prices starting from $59: http://bit.ly/MagicMikeXXLArenaPremiere
